Shawn Ramagos
Designer, Technical Director, Production Manager, Artistic Director, Theatrical Consultant, and Trainer
With wild imagination, set and lighting designer Shawn Ramagos has transformed the Old Marquer into a detailed vision of industrial/gothic chic, a place of exposed light bulbs and a palpable sense of decay.
Brian Sands- AmBush Magazine
Shawn Ramagos’ set looks like a medieval dungeon with blood splattered on the stone walls and hooks hanging from the ceiling. This dark aesthetic sets the mood and adds to the suspense.
Tyler Gillespie- New Orleans Gambit
As I'm trying to track down a set designer who can do magic with little money I find myself comparing everyone to you. To this day, the work you did on faustus was so unbelievable no one has compared.

I saw Hunchback of Notre Dame last night. OUTSTANDING! Best production I've ever seen. If that's the caliber we can expect from Shawn Ramagos kudos for a great choice of Artistic Director.

This production of Hunchback is incredible and Shawn's vision and direction for this show will affect this community in wonderful ways.

I've been in entertainment for many years and Shawn is the best Producer we have ever worked with.

Shawn as Line Producer on this project made all the right decisions and made life easier for the whole crew. He is a top notch professional in his field.

The look of the production astonishes. The unified design approach between Shawn Ramagos (set and lighting), A. Reiley Morgan (costumes), and Rebecca Elizabeth Hollingsworth (makeup) is tight and evocative.

They are the cast of an original production that puts the audience in the seats of New Orleans' WSDC (Stage Door Canteen) studio for a Mother's Day 1945 radio broadcast really the stage of the museum's wonderful new theater, cleverly decorated with period pieces and radio microphones (the work of set designer Shawn Ramagos).
Dominic Massa- WWL TV
The show looks as good as it sounds. The colorful costumes are an asset, from the fur-lined red gowns to the chic 1940s couture that capture the period. The wardrobe is assembled by Reed and Judy Claverie. Shawn Ramagos' sets captures 1940's New York and are effectively lit by Alex Quinby.

When I saw Hunchback I thought that was the best production I'd ever seen, but I recently saw Billy Elliot and it was right up there with Hunchback. The dance, singing, and sets were amazing. Shawn with his direction and set design were superior. The large set buildings free of wobbles and moving must have been an engineering feat. When Billy flew it was magical. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon.

Don't let Shawn's young appearance fool you. He seriously knows what he is doing.
